In the Czech Republic, a driver must not drink any alcohol before driving!
A Police Examination is carried out by police at almost every basic check / every time they stop you for something.
If the check finds alcohol in your blood, you risk, in addition to your own health, other large fines:
- less than 1 percent of alcohol in the blood: 5 -25 thousand CZK
- more than 1 percent: 25 - 75 thousand CZK
