Campsite Oase Prague - Glassworks in Nižbor

You can visit glassworks Rückl Nižbor every workday(Mond.-Frid.) from 9– 6 hours and Saturday 9-12 hours. The guided tour is always in groups, so maybe you will have to wait a little until you get the tour in your language. While waiting, you can have a cup of coffee. During your tour you will see a step-by-step production of Bohemia crystal glass – starting from blowing, through adjustment, sorting and then of course smoothing.  Each paying person receives a gift – a small glass animal. And after the tour is finished, you can buy in a company store glass products for a very good price.

Camping Oase tips:

• Turn down from the highway Prague-Pilsen on the first slip road to Beroun. Then just follow the glassworks Nižborn signs.

• We recommend to extend your glassworks tour by a visit of the nearby castle Křivoklát or of Karlštejn castle or Koněpruské jeskyně ( caves) , that are a little bit further.
